Contemplative Outreach is a spiritual network of individuals and small faith communities committed to living the contemplative dimension of the Gospel. The common desire for Divine transformation, primarily expressed through a commitment to a daily Centering Prayer practice, unites our international, interdenominational community.
The Center for Action and Contemplation seeks to empower individuals to live out their sacred soul tasks in service to the world through contemplative programs and resources.
COSA's purpose is to nurture the spiritual growth of Centering Prayer participants in the San Antonio/Hill Country community, to provide workshops in the method of Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina, and to offer retreats and resources to deepen our relationship with God.
Contemplative Outreach is an evolving community with an expanding vision and deepening practice, serving the changing needs of Christian contemplatives. As members of this evolving community, we are responsible to foster and transmit the Vision of Contemplative Outreach. We will fulfill our Vision through attraction to the Centering Prayer practice, not by proselytizing. The gift of contemplative practice enables us to bring an attitude of humilty, listening and service to our daily activities.
The mission of the Omega Center is to deepen Teilhard de Chardin’s integration of science and spirituality by providing insights and practices to enkindle awareness of love at the heart of reality.
We are an inclusive non-profit society that encourages a deepening of contemplative prayer based in the Christian Wisdom tradition while also welcoming and being supportive of other meditation traditions. We are based in Victoria, BC, Canada and serve a global audience. We offer local retreats, wisdom schools, and workshops led by Rev. Dr. Cynthia Bourgeault and other teachers of the Christian contemplative path.
Meditation Chapel nurtures unity and peace through the sharing of divine stillness and sacred listening. We support groups of all faith traditions in offering and sharing the contemplative experience through the sacramental use of technology.
